Lately I have been so wrapped up in my current romance novel I can’t hardly do much else. I tried to read a mystery novel recently just to shake things up and it took me three weeks to finish it. The book had great reviews on Amazon, but for some reason it just didn’t hold my attention. After that book, I went back to my ol’ favorite, romance novels. While I love a good mystery or a highly detailed Frank Sinatra book, there is nothing quite like a cheesy romance novel. The best ones make you feel like you’ve fallen in love and have you excited to get back to your reading at every chance. I recently discovered Kindle Unlimited and let me tell you it is a reader’s dream! I average about a book a week, which is roughly $25 a month for my reading habit. With Kindle Unlimited I pay $9.99 and get unlimited books to read! You just trade one book in for the next one, it is amazing! You can do a free 30 day trial if you aren’t too sure about signing up for Kindle Unlimited and you can cancel at any time. It has really helped fuel my romantic reading obsession. I wanted to share some of my favorite Kindle Unlimited finds. Some of these books were SO good I finished them in a day. I know it sounds like my reading habit is out of control, but trust me these books are that good!
Just thinking about this book makes me sooo happy all over again! I literally fell in love with Jaxon Riley. Jaxon is tall, athletic, has tattoos, a little bit of a temper but impeccable manners. I couldn’t have written a more perfect man if I tried. It’s a shame this man doesn’t actually exist. Emerson Moore, the female character and object of Jaxon’s affections (lucky girl) is just as loveable. And who doesn’t identify with a girl that is afraid of getting too attached?! She certainly isn’t your run of the mill female lead. Instead Em is a girl sleeping around, never committing to guys and partying way too hard, but she is hard not to love! Jaxon tries to reel her in just to have his own past push her away. I read this book in one day and I can honestly say I had never read any book in a day before. Jaxon and Em will have you dying to know what will happen next. I want to read this book all over again now! I’m actually still not over Jaxon (maybe that’s why I can’t meet anyone, lol).
Another book full of lovable characters! I was dying for Rhys and Andie to get together this entire book. If you are looking for a book with a little romance and a little thrill this is a good one! Andie accepts a job as autistic toddler Will’s live-in therapist and soon starts struggling with more than just her attraction to his father, Rhys. Andie is also fighting guilt from her childhood and an incident with her younger brother. An incident her family hasn’t completely forgiven her for. Meanwhile Will’s mother isn’t letting Rhys or Will go without a fight. The situation turns ugly rather quickly. This book will have you cheering for Andie and Rhys while biting your nails over Rhys’ evil ex and her tumultuous plans. A must read!
One of those three day reads again! Meg and Josh are two of the most charming characters. Whenever there is a sassy short girl I feel a little attached to her right away. But Meg is tiny, tough and trying to prove to every one she has changed. Super loveable in my book! It doesn’t hurt that Meg’s ex boyfriend and her daughter’s father was an undercover FBI agent that has tracked her down and is now trying to make things right. Of course it can never be that simple. Right when Josh starts breaking through her tough exterior and getting the quaint town to accept him his cover is blown and all trust is lost. Josh needs the help of Meg’s hometown to get her to forgive him. Will you love Josh Granger? Yes, I believe you will. And you’ll probably wish he was the father of your unborn children (or actual children, I won’t say anything don’t worry.)
Avery Randall is a cute, kind, career driven physical therapist in Sterling Canyon, Colorado. When her younger brother injures the towns newest business owner in a DUI accident it suddenly becomes Avery’s problem. Avery begins to work with the ruggedly handsome Grey Lowell and tries to separate her business and personal interests with the charming man. When her cheating ex boyfriend returns to town to win her back things only get more interesting. Avery seems to face the most impossible decision, love or family?
I tried not to read this book because it appeared too cheesy, even for me. But I couldn’t help myself, I read it and loved it! Alisha Coventry is a sweet girl trying to help her friends get their rightful inheritance. Alisha pretends to be Spencer’s fiancée so he can claim his inheritance from his estranged grandmother. Unfortunately, some drama arises when she begins falling for the wrong Westerly. The chemistry between Alisha and Spencer’s older brother Brett Westerly is undeniable and once he sets his mind to something Brett never fails. Who doesn’t love a strong, successful man that goes after what he wants? Alisha won’t be an easy prize to win. She loves Spencer’s family as they were the closest thing to a family she ever had, she can’t lose them over a little chemistry with Brett.
Fear not my friends, this book is the beginning of a series! Yay!
Did I mention that four of these fabulous books are just the start in their amazing series’?!!! Well, I did now! You can check them all out on Kindle Unlimited.
It is also worth mentioning that you can downloan the free Kindle Reading App here to read your books on virtually any device at any time! I read on my phone while waiting for appointments or my lunch breaks, it makes reading so convenient. And have I discussed Audible yet? It is amazing! Audible reads your book to you, it even changes voices. I feared it would be like listening to a robot read, but it is nothing like it. I love listening to my books on Audible while I get ready for work in the mornings. So convenient!
Trust me you won’t regret these reads. Get ready to fall in love with some seriously charming men.
